Description
This archived film explores the role of United States Army advisor, Captain William R. Johnston, to the Army of the Republic of Viet Nam in South Vietnam, 1962-1963, and the lessons he learned while sharing command with his ARVN counterpart, as they protect an important sugar mill, construct a strategic hamlet, protect and repair supply routes, and construct a defense outpost while fighting guerrilla Viet Cong. This digitally remastered version may reveal limitations of the technology available at the time of performance.
